NAFA Open House 2008

31st January 2008
[1st day]

What a crappy morning! I seriously hated the system. The new event planners. I hated them. So messed up! I had my duty which was at 3pm so until then, i pretty much slacked~ HOWEVER, everything changed when Canberra Sec arrived.
I guided them along the tour. Surprisingly some of the students recognized me! They were much much more fun than last year's. And the teacher is so cute la~ So energetic when she heard her ex-lect's voice in the skylight studio. Turns out she was an ex-NAFA student! I enjoyed day one more than i thought.

[2nd day]

I guided this walk in couple. I think i was a bad tour guide, at least only to them. It was in the morning and i havent had my energy yet so, sorry~ I was dutied to guide Siglap Sec today with Natalia, Naomi & Gayle. I left most of the work to Gayle since she's very enthusiastic and glib with her tongue. AND, thanks to her, i got to enter the printmaking workshop for the first time and *gasps* he's there! He's there! He's there!
Bliss~
I wasnt as tired as the day before but its a still a good day. Well, partly cos i got to see him~

[Last day]

Today was a bomb! I really really really had fun today. Not much duty so i attended to the walk-ins. First walk in really made my day. She came to NAFA, knowing exactly what she wants and knows what questions to ask. I think i did a good job. But i was so blur with them. Skylight Studio was in wing B. We were at Wing A after the gallery visit, then i suggested we go to the Skylight Studio and took the Wing A lift all the way to the 6th floor. When the lift door opened, i was shocked to the see the library! *bangs herself*

Luckily Haja was there and i asked him if the printmaking workshop is open to visitors. And....*gasps* HE WAS ON DUTY!!! I was soo nervouse to enter but i did and he took over. He explained to my guests what printmaking is about and even go to the extent of telling them what they will do in their first year etc. He took my job and i must say, he did a much pretty job then me...well, he is a senior after all~ He was soooo cute! I love his husky voice~

2nd walk in was boring. The guy is interested in MM only... =___=...so i had only one place to show him, which is CMS...then he wanted to enquire more abt the other courses so i left him at the counselling area. Done!

3rd walk in. Hoho, it was my sister and Siti~ Lol~ both of you are soo sacarstic can? I told them to pretend to be interested in printmaking bcos i wanted an excuse to go there you see~ And....*gasps* he's still on duty!! LOL! I get to see him again! *floats in bliss*

This time his energy is already low. He didn't talk much. Sighs* So after touring Campus one of NAFA, i realised Siti is pretty much interested in NAFA now...she likes fine art, printmaking, jewellery design, i think MM and VC stuff too~ Haha~

Then i dumped them, to go visit LaSelle. Haha~ I really adore the interior of LaSelle. So pretty and unique. But sadly, its not as lively as i thought it'd be~ It was a hilarious trip by the way and we went in with our NAFA t-shirt so imagine the stares. We go there to greet our neighbors okay?

A fun and lively time after that. We greeted visitors with great enthusiasm, and bid them farewell with great enthusiasm. I really had more fun this year. The event planners arent as fun but a bond was created. Everyone is so warm and helpful and worked well together~

Really an unforgettable Open House...

As everyone was smiling, including me, i couldn't help but play the image that was in front of me to disappear like a film reel...today, yesterday and the day before will all be mere memories that will never replay....but its essence will always be there~
